NAB Press Release
The StereoBrain Processor is a new 3D HD video processing unit developed for use in stereoscopic 3D production and broadcast.
SB-1
The SB-1 model is the first in a range of 3D image processors. SB-1 has a wide range of stereoscopic functions and is particularly suitable for live viewing of a stereoscopic camera pair on any 3D capable display. The SB-1 works in conjunction with mirror/beam-splitter rigs and has build-in vertical flip and anaglyph modes.
In April, the SB-1 was used extensively the production of a live performance by the band Keane. The performance was broadcast live via Sky's satellite network and simultaneously webcast from Keane's website
SB-221
The SB-221 is a unique product that enables HD stereoscopic production using only a single channel HD capable workflow. The SB-221 simplifies stereoscopic recording and playback by combining two HD stereo images into a single HD data stream that can be recorded on any uncompressed HD store. The SB-221 uses SMPTE VC-2 to combine two stereo images at full resolution whilst maintaining video and audio synchronisation.
3Gi
3Gi is a powerful test signal generator and 3G SDI converter with monitoring DVI/HDMI output. This innovative product is ideally suited to the laboratory or test environment handling all SDI formats up to and including 3G SDI level A, level B and dual-link. 3Gi will seamlessly convert between 3G formats while simultaneously offering monitoring audio and DVI capability.
